The event focuses on fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation through a series of engaging technical competitions and activities.
Parents-Teachers
The AI & ML Department conducted a Parents-Teachers Meeting on 16th September 2025 . Faculty members discussed students’ academic progress, attendance, and overall performance with parents. The meeting facilitated effective interaction and feedback, strengthening the collaboration between parents and teachers for student development.
18.09.2025 - Spearheading AI Trends with Hands-on Workshop on Gen AI and AI Agents
The Department of CSE (AIML), Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, organized a One-Day Workshop on “Spearheading AI Trends with Hands-on Workshop on Gen AI and AI Agents” on September 18, 2025. The session featured Mrs. Karthika Tamileselvan (Co-Founder & Head of Operations, Zequin) as the Guest of Honour, along with experts Mr. Rajasekar (AI Engineer) and Ms. Shesha Vardhini (Cloud Engineer) from Zequin, who shared valuable insights and hands-on training. Guided by the department faculty, the workshop equipped students with practical knowledge of Generative AI and AI Agents , making it an enriching and impactful experience.

Program Assessment Committee (PAC) Meeting on 11.04.2025
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) conducted the Second Program Assessment Committee (PAC) Meeting on 11.04.2025 at the MCA Seminar Hall, MCET. The meeting was chaired by Dr. P. Vivekanandan, Professor and Head, and coordinated by Ms. S. Yamunadevi, PAC Coordinator. Dr. J. Uma, Assistant Professor (SS), Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, served as the Academic Expert. Faculty members Mr. T. Selvakumar, Mr. T. Vijayakumar, Ms. P. Jessie, and Ms. R. Mithuna actively participated. Selected students also attended the meeting, providing valuable feedback and suggestions towards curriculum development and program improvement.
