24.11.2025 - Expert session on Self-Motivation: A Tool for Success
The Expert Session on Self-Motivation: A Tool for Success was conducted on 24-11-2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mechanical Seminar Hall, featuring Mrs. Kavitha Lakshmanan, Counselling Consultant from the ZEN Healing Centre, as the resource person. A total of 115 participants attended the session, which focused on understanding self-motivation as a key factor for personal and professional success and encouraged students to cultivate positive habits, confidence, and goal-oriented behavior.
30.09.2025 - Awareness on Prevention of Sexual Harassment
An awareness program on the prevention of sexual harassment will be held on 30th September 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 at the Nachimuthu Gounder Centenary Center in Pollachi. The session aims to educate and sensitize participants about the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment, free from harassment. The expert speaker for the event is Dr. V.K. Sudha, Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend and actively engage in this important initiative.
19.09.2025 - Staff welfare program on “Financial Planning”
The ISTE Staff Chapter of Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology organized a staff welfare program on “Financial Planning” on 19th September 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the New Seminar Hall. The program was arranged to create awareness among faculty and staff about the importance of financial discipline and the need for structured investment strategies for a secure future. The session began with a warm welcome address by Dr. M. Kaliamoorthy, Professor, Department of EEE, Dr. MCET. He emphasized the significance of such initiatives in guiding staff members to plan their finances wisely. The guest speakers were Mr. T. Margabandhu, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. D. Saravanan, Director and Chief Financial Planner, both from GoStocks Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., Anna Nagar, Chennai (Click for more details).
