Welcome to the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Club! The Disaster Risk Reduction Club in our engineering institution was established to build awareness, preparedness, and resilience among students against natural and human-made disasters. The club serves as a platform that equips future Engineers with the knowledge and skills needed to assess risks, reduce vulnerabilities and respond effectively to emergencies. The DRR Club is dedicated to promoting a culture of safety, prevention and sustainability on campus and beyond. Our mission is to educate and empower students on disaster preparedness, emergency planning and risk mitigation through engineering-based solutions. We encourage interdisciplinary learning where members share ideas, experiences, and innovations related to disaster management and resilient infrastructure.
Through seminars, workshops, mock drills, expert talks, field visits and community outreach programs, the club aims to strengthen students technical competence and social responsibility. By working together, we strive to minimize disaster impacts, support affected communities, and contribute to safer and more resilient societies. Join us in building awareness today to protect lives and infrastructure tomorrow, because preparedness is the first step toward resilience.
