The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) [CSE (CYS)] was established in 2022 under the leadership of Dr. K.N. Vijeyakumar. As cybersecurity gained prominence, the need for a dedicated platform led to the formation of Encryptix, an exclusive association for cybersecurity students. With 27 active members, the association thrives on collaboration, research, and hands-on engagement.

Guided by the motto "Defend, Innovate, Secure," Encryptix focuses on safeguarding digital assets, developing innovative solutions, and promoting robust security practices. Under the guidance of Dr. P. Vivekanandhan, Encryptix conducts various activities, including workshops, training sessions, and Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, providing practical exposure in ethical hacking, penetration testing, cryptography, and digital forensics. The association also hosts guest lectures by industry experts to keep members updated on emerging security trends.

Through research projects and interactive learning opportunities, Encryptix empowers students to develop innovative security solutions and prepares them to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges with confidence and expertise.
